We’re thrilled to announce the release of a new Tweeki desktop app. The new version has been pushed to users who have already installed Tweeki on their desktop, but for all you n00bs, here’s whats new with Tweeki:
New Features:
- Ability to view and interaction with conversations (tweets related to tweets)
- Customizable tab bar
- New Lists Tab
- New ReTweets Tab
- New Favorites Tab
Conversations
One of the many fun parts of Twitter is watching conversations around tweets. There is a new and simple way to follow a Twitter conversation thread on Tweeki by clicking on the blue conversation bubble icon next to the user handle.

Customizable tab bar
If you’re looking to display different content on your app , you can now customize the Tweeki tabs bar. To customize a tab, right click on an icon in the tabs bar, and select a tab from the dropdown menu.
Lists Tab
Twitter lists are curated groups of Twitter users where you can view a stream of Tweets from only the users included in that group. View lists you’re subscribed to or have been added to with the new ‘Lists’ tab. Not following any Twitter lists? Here are a few to get you started.
ReTweets Tab
Retweets help you and others quickly share a Tweet to all of your followers. Unlike alternative Twitter desktop clients, Tweeki allows you to edit and append comments to a ReTweet. This simple, yet useful features let your audience know what you think of the original tweet, and provides more valuable context to the conversation. Check out HubSpot‘s tips on how to compose a ReTweet.
Favorites Tab
The Favorites feature on Twitter is tool that is largely ignored by many users. However, there are many creative ways to use the Twitter Favorites feature to build brand awareness, promote conversations, and gain more followers. The new Tweeki app offers a ‘Favorites’ tab that displays all your favorite tweets for easy access and management.
In addition to the many (awesome) new features added to Tweeki, we’ve fixed a few bugs. See this page for version update information.
If you do not have the updated version of Tweeki, right click on the Pokki acorn icon on your Windows taskbar, and click “Check for updates.”
